Ok, the site is all new. 2 of the 4 reviews posted here about transgenderdate.com were from trolls with fake profiles who were banned from the site. Apparently because of sour grapes they posted bad reviews here.

TGD now operates on a freemium model, accounts are free, but donations bring account upgrades. Servers have been updated, chat is back, video upload works.
Thousands of new members have signed up since any of the reviews here were posted - over 200 new members/day for several months.

The site is now moderated, trolls and fakes are mostly gone, those who resurface are banned pretty quickly. There are employees providing customer service and moderation, a full time programmer continues to add new features pretty much weekly. 95% of the BS on the blogs is gone, since now blog authors can select the option to only permit verified profiles to comment on their blogs, and mods delete the trolls pretty quickly.

The site has been around nearly 11 years, trans people currently receive VIP access for free when they verify their profiles. As such, there are literally 10s of 1000s of Verified profiles of trans people, no sex workers, and it’s easy to spot the fakes, you just... (Read the full review)

I am a MtoF transgender girl, and have been a member of the site for awhile now. It may be a free site, but I would never recommend it to either other trans girls, or good men seeking something real & serious. Between all the fake profiles, time waster, trolls, and just downright nasty MtoF trans girls on there, its an embarrassment to the transgender community. If you don't believe me, try it out, also read the hateful blogs, but don't say you wasn't warned. Also, if you are a serious, good man, please don't think what you see on there is how all trans girls act, because its not at all. I have been watching people leave the site left and right there, and I understand completely why. Theres a few good people there, but most are hateful, insulting, and just plain embarrassing to our community.

I do not recommend this site to anyone at all, unless you just want to leave it feeling bad, and shocked by how they act to one another. Just remember that the handfull of miserable people there do not represent the transgender community at all, and its very embarrassing to those of us transgenders... (Read the full review)

TransgenderDate.com seems like a cheap ripoff of TransDate.com There are not nearly the amount of members like there is on Trans Date. I tried to talk to over 10 TS and the only one that responded was clearly fake.

Transgenderdate.com is not a safe place for transgender women. And the site is plagued with fake profiles and abusive members. The admin does nothing about it and doesn't respond to members that report abuse or fake profiles.

I think this review site is completely biased toward the Adultfriendfinder network. Having been scammed by them, including losing access to a gold membership without any explanation why, it's a testament to the dishonesty of this copy and paste "review" site.

Why would you rate the "features available to free members" as 3 stars for TransGenderDate.com knowing full well there are no limits at all imposed on free members? The site itself is FREE!!!

TransGenderDate.com is a great site. They allow any number of photos to be uploaded, they require explicit photos to be limited to private and friend albums, they police the site for blatant solicitations. They also understand the widely variant identities in the TS/TG community like no other I've found! They got a couple of bugs in the site right now (such as chat not working and video uploads awaiting server upgrade), but all in all I couldn't recommend it more. Too bad there's only like 4 local members in my category of choice.
